Everybody’s Free.

I did it; I FINALLY graduated college! I got a BJ (Bachelor’s of Journalism, you pervs!), woo hoo! So, since a couple of my last posts have been about things I hate, I figured this celebratory post should be something I LOVE! And today I was reminded of a “song” that should never be forgotten: “Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen).” This motivational anthem should go down in history as one of the greatest!

So, in honor of all of those graduated. The tip that I would like to offer you would be this, “Enjoy the power & beauty of your youth.”

Another Thing I Hate…

So, I haven’t wrote in like a month, but I am about to graduate college (THANK THE LORD!) and my spare time has more than disappeared. But in a week I will be done4lyf. And then I will celebrate with no responsibilities, until I find a real job. So, anyways, I feel like a negative person because I am writing ANOTHER post about one of my few hatreds, ha.

It’s Britney, Bitch!

Today is Britney Spears Day. All things will revolve around Femme Fatale. I will listen to nothing else. This is my pledge.

She might not be able to dance like she used to, but I still love this bitch.

You Know What I Hate…

So, it’s that time of year again. Swimsuit season. And there is nothing I hate more than listening to girls bitch about their bodies. “Ugh, I’m so fat.” “I can’t believe I just ate that; I have to get in a swimsuit in a week.” I get it, you want to look “good” at the beach in Panama City (even though half the time they are already like a size 2), but just like with New Year’s resolutions, people hit the gym like crazy for a month… and then go back to their regular lifestyle. And really, I’m not bashing on that, because I honestly couldn’t tell you the last time I have been to the gym, but occasionally I have intentions… Ha. But the thing the bothers me the most are people like this.

So I got so distracted last night and almost completely forgot about my original blog idea! So, as I said before, I ended up spending my St. Pat’s working all night. Well, late in the night I saw a group of girls sitting in a booth who looked like they hadn’t been helped yet. So I went over to offer to get them some drinks. After ordering a pitcher, out of habit, I asked for their I.D.’s. not that they had triggered any of my “underage alerts” like: asking for a drink menu, asking what a well is, or asking what would be good to mix with that (note to underagers– these are dead giveaways).

You Know What Sucks…

This is what sucks. Having to work ALL NIGHT. Not getting to go out with my friends. Mizzou losing first round of the tournament. THEN, I get to come home at 3 a.m. to hear my roommate and some girl canoodling in the room next to me while I lay in bed alone. This is my life. So, suck it.

So, tonight was supposed to be GIRLS NIGHT! Woo Hoo! I even showered for the special occasion (AND shaved!)… well and partially because I wasn’t sure I would have time to clean up before the festivities begin tomorrow (GREEN BEER!) Shortly after I got out of the shower, I got the text… Girls Night Cancelled. What a waste of a good shower! At least I hadn’t begun putting on my makeup, or I might feel more inclined to go out and do something instead of lay in my bed and do nothing all night.

Oh well, I guess now I am so fresh & so clean for St. Patty’s tomorrow… so this one’s for the girls! <3
